I finally decided to switch dentists (after 20 yrs at my previous dentist; it was a tough decision) and use my partners dentist, Dr. Maycher. This was a blessing!! No sooner after my first (and ugly) consultation did he heal me of my pains! He did an emergency wisdom tooth extraction and a root canal, all in the same day. This was my first root canal so I was scared. But his calm demeanor and assurances kept me at ease. It was done quickly, relatively pain-free (just minor discomfort really) and I feel good as new! Plus the uber friendly hygienists and receptionists keep things so simple, I actually enjoy coming back for routine visits. Thank you everyone at the Bay Dental!

For years I had decaying and missing teeth, I was always embarrassed to smile. Thanks to Dr. Maycher and cosmetic dentistry within a few months he gave me back my smile. I was able to attend my 40 year high school reunion with confidence and and a beautiful smile. His staff are all very knowledgeable and were always very kind to me. Excellent dentist. Listens carefully and takes time to explain procedures and answer questions. Is careful, gentle, and perfectionistic (which is what you want from a dentist!). Has a manner that puts one at ease and is empathetic toward nervous patients. Seems to stay current with the research, and comes across as ethical and trustworthy. I highly recommend this dentist.

I sit down in the dental chair, but instead of starting to tremble with my habitual “pre-dentist” fears, I relax and watch the seagull sitting outside the window now looking inside on Dr Maycher who explains then goes on to perform his highly intuitive and skilled work as he curates, repairs and restores the landscape of teeth into something beautiful. There is no hurry, yet no wait and, when I get ready to pay the friendly staff at the desk, I am overjoyed at the fact that the charges have been reasonable and affordable. “These fillings will last for the next 30 years”, a statement which gives bounce to my step on my way out through the Bay back into the urban scene where bright teeth meet the day with my renewed and happy smile.

I’ve been going to the Bay Dental centre for 3years now after going to a different dental office for over 25years. The schedule is so flexible. I can get an evening or weekend appointment, and if I need any treatment after a cleaning he can almost always see me just after my cleaning. The staff is amazing, kudos to my hygienist Cerina and his office manager Jesika. They truly are a gem to have. The staff are very knowledgeable about various treatment options, complete details about the dental insurance as well as they are very personable that your dental anxiety disappears. I highly recommend Dr. Maycher as your dentist I only wish I had found him and his team sooner.

I have been seeing Dr. Maycher for 20 years now and he is by far the best Dentist I’ve had. I suffered a broken front tooth that had to be repaired with a partial cap when I was 10. I visited other dentists and the cap would repeatedly fall off. It wasn’t until Dr. Maycher put it on that there was no issue at all. I’ve had it ever since and the cap hasn’t fallen off in 20 years. He’s great!

Dr. Maycher is the best dentist I have ever had, he is gentle, efficient and very skilled. I was so relaxed in his care and he took the time to explain every procedure beforehand and went above and beyond to keep my costs low. I can’t recommend him enough!
